Identification. See key. Known from phoretic deutonymphs, immobile deutonymphs, and adults.
Hosts. Osmia (Osmia) ribifloris (Megachilidae).
Distribution (show map). USA: Texas, Utah.
Etymology. Claudus (=limping, halting, lame) is a Latin adjective in reference to tarsus IV, which is usually slightly bent.
