The MES holds its annual meeting in late spring or early summer. These meetings are fun gatherings for members of differing abilities, talents, interests, and educational backgrounds. Although short formal presentations are given, there is always ample opportunity for good conversation, comraderie, and a chance to share our knowledge. Depending on the location of the annual meeting, informal evening or day collecting trips are another enjoyable activity.
The Society also hosts various informal meetings and collecting trips as interest and time allows. A mid-winter "Breaking Diapause" party has been an effective way to break the winter doldrums and dream of days of summer breezes.
