You can download a set of B&W TIFF files of various odonates. All were scanned at 300 dpi from 19th-century works, and are therefore in the public domain. There are two choices:
DRAGONFLY TIFFS for Mac (a self-extracting archive in .hqx format)
DFLYTIFS - for Windows and DOS (.ZIP archive)
